Rf8 18. Qh5 h6 19. Qg6 Rf6 20. Qe8 Rf8 21.Qg6 Rf6 1/2-1/2
In a slav game the rating last had a lidl problem but he trade the Queens and build his defence to draw, you can see it as a deciption for Topalov but I think Motylev played a very good game.
Van Wely-Radjabov 0-1
The 6 time dutch champion lost in a king's indian the c-line and played and was after that very chanceless. Radjabov has a lot of chances because he lose never. He is now the leader, but he must not draw not to much
Karjakin-Kramnik 1/2-1/2
The youngest GM ever had a better posision after a bad opening from Kramnik: The russian defence. In his match against deep fritz he standed better but mist his chances. The defence held is drawish reputation and it turned draw
Shirov-Svidler 1/2-1/2
In a Grunfeld Indian choosed Svidler for draw. The dullest match in round 1
Tiviakov-Carlsen 1/2-1/2
Wonderchild Carlsen and ex-junior worldchampion played a very sharp game in the Alapin. After while it looked if Carlsen had a better posission but after a weared trade it's was draw. I think it's bad for Carlsen because he need to win from lower rated opponent's.

Navara-Aronian
Navara came better but chose for draw by eterny check. But he had a better posission

Ponomariov-Anand 1/2-1/2
Pono-Vishy was surpresing draw because Pono had a better posission the Q en the two rooks were standing still and Pono's pieces had a chance to rule the board.

Damn I was going to buy a new Hummer in late 2012 and drive around the country for a vacation, Now I am going to have to shave my head and join the Hari.s, Muslims, Jews, Jehovah s, Mormons, Christians, and a few other wing nut groups just to cover all my bases.
